Opening SkillsFuture Credit of $500

SkillsFuture Credit aims to encourage individual ownership of skills development and lifelong learning. Introduced in 2015, all Singaporeans aged 25 and above will receive an opening credit of S$500.

One-Off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up (of ANOTHER $500!)

As part of efforts to encourage Singaporeans to take ownership of their skills development and be well-equipped to seize opportunities in the future economy, a one-off SkillsFuture Credit top-up of $500 will be provided to every Singapore Citizen aged 25 years and above as at 31 December 2020.

Free to take courses to upgrade during covid?

Since we are still having the circuit breaker till 4 May, I am thinking that I should pick up some skills during this period by tapping on my skills future!

But instead of finding courses for myself, I managed to find a Skillsfuture digital-ready workshop (done online) for my parents which starts this week! Google Pay Singapore now lets you order food for pick-up or delivery – and restaurants won’t need to pay to use it

It's a time when we all need to keep our costs and expenditure low, so this is really helpful for all of us (yes, even the customers)!
